Simple question – on the BA tier point calculator website, if I’m flying on a BA-marketed codeshare (and it’s the non BA leg of a multi-segment flight), should I select British Airways or the actual flight operator when cross referencing the booking class against expected tier points?
I think you should select the operqting carrier. But is there a difference in TP between selecting operating carrier and BA? I thought they would give the same result.
In this case I have a BA WTP (fare class T) flight connecting to AA (fare class B). Fare class B is full fare economy on BA (70 TP), but deeply discounted economy on AA (20 TP). So I wonder which is applicable.
