Just received email from BA with the following way to earn tier points from Amex PP spend:
– Spend £15,000 and earn 100 Tier Points.
– Spend £20,000 and earn an additional 50 Tier Points.
– Spend £25,000 and enjoy an extra 50 Tier Points.
That means you could earn a maximum of 200 Tier Points, and it only takes moments to sign up. You’ll need to enrol in the offer using the link below before any spend will be counted.
Have until 20th May to make the spend. Interesting offer…
I think it was discussed on a separate thread when Amex first sent around the offer in the 21/11. Today the same offer was circulated by BA.
Strangely, when I signed up on the original offer and pressed the link again by mistake, I got the message that I had already enrolled. However, when I did follow the link from BA today, it made me enrol again without the message that I was already enrolled.. I hope that it did not reset the clock as I had quite a lot of spend going through since the 21/11
I have signed up for this. Do I also need to sign up my wife (she is the additional cardholder and spender of most of the money😂) or does it just all flow through from the main account holder signing up?
If I have a query above not receiving Tier Points when spend is reached do I take it up with Amex or BA EC?
You need to take this up with Amex initially. The tier points should get credited to your BAEC account at the same time as your monthly Avios transfer. The TP will show as a separate line in your Amex app and show as Avios rather than TP, but should automatically be credited to your account as TP.

Thank you – will do.
Has anyone been credited the tier points? Just about to hit the first hurdle (which will get me Silver status) and was wondering how long it will take to be credited.

They will be credited more or less in line with your monthly Avios posting date.
Had the sweep across yesterday, showing as separate line of 200 Avios in Amex account, and only showing as 200 Avios in BAEC also, will wait a few days before taking up (with Amex initially I guess?)
Still nothing posted and I should have had the full 200 now. Checked and I am defo enrolled. Will take it up with Amex. Anyone else?
For anyone else who didn’t get credited you need to call Amex and ask for a reference number (not your BA membership number) then call BA and give them the reference number and wait 7 days.
this promo appears to have been relaunched today for new cardholders, see my new post – however BA seem to also have some tech issues around it
Yet again today, I received an email telling me to enroll. When I try to enroll I’m prompted to log in, then the offer isn’t there. I’m pretty sure that a month or more back, I tried to enrol and it told me I was already enrolled. Is anyone else getting repeat invitations making it appear as if they haven’t enrolled? Think I might phone them tomorrow.
Yeah, I keep getting emails and also keep worrying that I’m not enrolled. They really should have some tracker or even a note in the app that you’ve already enrolled and then suppress these emails (or change them to reminders that make it clear you’ve enrolled).
I see the 100TP in my pending transactions so I know I’m enrolled. Just need to wait and see if they move over ok.
I also keep getting repeat invitations to enrol. Makes me uneasy about whether I’m in our out. Speaking of which, how are we meant to track spending progress?

1. ask Amex
