Tier points expiry/retaining status

Hello. I acquired Bronze status in July 2022. My Tier Points collection year ends on 8 June 2024 and the card expiry date is 31 July 2024. There is no way that I will be able to earn enough points to retain Bronze but I am unclear as to on which date I will drop down to Blue – 8 June 2024 or 31 July 2024? I am hoping the latter, as I am flying BA in early Jul 2024 so it would be very handy to be able to choose seats for free 7 days in advance. Thanks.

31 July is your card expiry date and thus the date you drop down to blue
