I have an Amex Platinum card with lots of Membership Rewards accumulated. I have used these to transfer into Airline reward points in the past.
What I would like to do now is slightly different: I want to transfer points to my son’s BA Exec Club. Does anyone know if this is possible? He is a supplementary card holder on my Amex although not with a Green card only – if this is relevant.
The straight answer is No, you can only transfer MR points to your own BA account. However if your son is in an HHA with you (as per your separate question) he can then spend them.
Thank you. For some reason I thought I had seen somewhere that an Amex Platinum account could use their Membership Rewards to buy Avios on any account. I must have imagined / mis-read / misunderstood that.
Transfer them to yourself and then pay Finnair €10 to transfer them to him – https://www.headforpoints.com/2024/12/20/transfer-avios-for-e10-fee-via-finnair/
