Thanks @JDB – much appreciated.
@CJD – we decided to do an overnight in MEX on the way back, mainly to avoid the risks of any delays to the domestic causing issues with the international flight back. It also avoids the enforced long connection you’d need to mitigate that risk. We’re getting the 09.30 flight to MEX, staying in a different part of town to experience a new area (Polanco v Centro Historico), before flying home at 21.00 the next day (we’re doing BA to LHR).
