    Hi all,

Got some reward flights to TCI next June with the GF for just over a week – I have had a look but given I have no experience with this part of the world at all, I was wondering if anyone had any helpful advice around:

Is it possible to work in a stop-over in Nassau at all for a few days or do BA not really do that?
    Best places to stay
    Things to do
    Best way to get around

Seems like the bulk of the hotels/resorts are around Grace Bay with some accommodation also around Chalk Sound which may or may not be interrupted by traffic from the airport?

We’re not really looking to do all that much, mainly just meals and lounging around for the week.

All comments and suggestions welcome, thanks!

You won’t be able to get off at NAS now you’ve booked your flights, you’d need to book LHR-NAS then the connecting leg separately.

Update on this – after having a good look at my holiday year and better usage over Easter we jacked this in and booked something in Greece.

Hotels didn’t seem to be at the same level for the money compared to some other places – Might have a look again when we don’t have to remortgage the house to pay the energy bill…!

Easter is mega-expensive in the Caribbean region. The best value time to go, IME (and be guaranteed decent weather) is the first half of December, then late April/early May.

This was looking in June for TCI – The new Greece trip is over Easter as it means I can take less holiday days and actually have some left to use some other time! I was planning on a US trip at some point but getting any value for money at all travelling West seems relatively impossible at the moment I will have to tackle heading East in 2023 I suspect…
