Does anyone know if there are anything specific I need to do if flying UK to Japan, staying for a week, and then flying to South Korea for a week and then back to Japan for a couple of weeks before flying home?

UK passport – can I still do visa free or do I need a visa for the multiple Japan entries.

You don’t need a visa for Japan (meaning they have a Visa waiver program for many nationalities).

You also don’t need to do K-ETA (electronic travel authorization) for South Korea until the end of 2024 with a UK passport:

At both Japan and South Korea, just turn up with your passport, nothing more required.

Yes, I agree with Yonasl and Gavin454, UK passport holders can enter both Japan and Korea for tourism purposes without a visa and stay for up to 90 days under the visa waiver program.
