    Advice sought please
I have been trying to use multiple FTV’s. I am told it can be done on line, and have tried numerous times, but always will not accept/allow the attempted booking . I have also tried calling , again without even getting an answer and hanging up after waiting and waiting.
I am now at the point where I dont want to use BA, I have given up trying ( and have made several written complaint to the Executive club).
I now want my avios and ££s paid , returned to me.
Any advice how I go about this would be most appreciated .
    Thanks.

What do your FTVs contain, firstly?

Contain ?? what do you mean ? they are vouchers received from BA for cancelled trips. all suffix 125- XXXXX and I have six of them .
Is that what you are asking?

Only ones with *only* cash in can be used online – they did call these e-vouchers, but they also start 125- If you had a cash only booking then the voucher resulting can be used online. I’ve done it.

FTVs – which include cash, avios and possibly 241 vouchers have to be by phone, though BA are cashing these in and refunding the contents (I had my two outstanding ones cashed in last week)

This – it depends on what kind of trip you cancelled to get the FTV.

George mentioned Avios; so those containing Avios cannot be used online.

With a bit of luck they’ll be cancelled and refunded in full soon. All mine have been, even my one way to Manchester last Decemeber…

Mine too. But George mentions “multiple FTVs” so may be different types. I also had several from BA Holidays which had to be redeemed via email – probably the easiest thing BA actually offered during the pandemic!

    Thanks to all who replied.

As I mentioned initially , I cannot get any response on the phone.
    So
I guess, if I want to book an alternative , I will have to ignore the FTV’s , and pay , again!
I am hoping that , as Northern Lass said, they will be cancelled and refunded..but will that be automatic, who/how do I request cancellation??
BA on line and customer service is a mess.
    Here’s hoping !

Thanks again to all who responded.

BA will email you if they are refunding your FTVs. If they contain a lot of cash this might not happen, though, as BA will want to hang on to that for as long as possible. This is in theory freeing up more people to answer the phone so you could keep trying. There have been numerous discussions on here about the best times and numbers to call and the success rate of getting through.

You could send BA a message on Twitter asking if your FTVs are going to be refunded – they take a few days to reply but can be surprisingly helpful.
FTVs which have been generally refunded so far have been ones which contain avios plus small amounts of cash, and ones which contain BA companion vouchers. You don’t say exactly what kind of bookings you cancelled to get yours.
