Hello, just went through the process of adding a card for P2, however the message stated thank you etc, please wait up to ten days and gave me a reference number to quote if I wanted to contact them about it
Is this the normal timeline/process?
TIA
If not immediately approved this is the message you will get. In my experience it’s usually only a day or two before approval, or, more often, no confirmation email is every sent and the card appears in the post a few days later.
Ah okay, thanks!
I’ll wait and see then 🙂
Datapoint:
On Sunday, I saw a jump in my membership rewards balance, which indicated to me the card had been approved.
Logged in this morning and saw P2’s name had been added to account.
No direct comms from Amex yet 😀
Oh, I should’ve responded to this thread. When I added my additional/supplementary user, there was also a 10 day wait. They ended up wanting documents, which I sent. The card just ended up in the post after a few days and then I knew it was approved – there was no communication prior to the card arriving.
