I went to UUA on a cash ET booking yesterday as I could see Avios availability in CE, and when I went to MMB and upgrade it still only had the cash upgrade option. Phoned the call centre and the agent did it over the phone in a few mins, so the ticket was the right sale class to be upgraded. Did I miss where to go on the website to do this? Was surprised I couldn’t see it on MMB as I have done online upgrades before no problem. Thanks!
I think if you switch back to the old style you might see it. But it’s not uncommon to either not see the option or it not to work!
