Booked a barclays upgrade voucher flight to Singapore in business. Had an email through about upgrading to first, yet when I go on the link there is nothing in mmb that allows me to upgrade. Is this even possible? Thanks in advance
IME these only ever come with cash bookings – you could try calling BA to ask if it’s something new and can they process it over the phone?
Yes, these offers can be made irrespective of the underlying booking type – we’ve just had (well only one of us on the same booking as it happens!) an upgrade email for an 241 avios booking – we did look but there was nothing in MMB.
I guess if there are very few upgrade seats available, and they send the email to everyone in Club, the chances are that by the time you log in any availability will have gone anyway.
