Upgrading using Avios on Qatar but booked via BA

I have booked LHR-DOH-KUL / HKG- LON in economy using cash on the BA website . Flight numbers are BA however flights operated by QR (otb only) can I use avios to upgrade the LON-DOH-KUL sectors if so can I do this via BA or does it have to be done via QR also if possible what sort of surcharges am I going to be stung with. RBD is Q class on the outbound

Pretty sure neither program will let you upgrade- Ba because it’s a codeshare flight and QR because they didn’t ticket it

Have you linked your BA account to Qatar? Try logging in and manage your booking on the Qatar site
