Forums Frequent flyer programs Virgin Flying Club Upper Class Wing at Heathrow- Can I bring a guest?

  • 120 posts

Hi. I am travelling upper class from heathrow. I have a friend on the same flight flying economy but not on the same booking.

I understand I can take him into the clubhouse lounge.

But can he check in at the upper class wing with me?

    Thank you

Yes – our premium economy friends checked in with us and came to lounge.

I asked this of the Gold line of late to try and get a clear answer.

You can both check in downstairs at T3, at the Upper desk. There is no issue there. To get to the UC Wing, you’d give your name, and they’d look you up on that day’s departures before opening the barrier. If the name isn’t on the list, then it is possible to be welcomed in, but they don’t guarantee it as they might be busy. Be prepared, too, for a little longer to check through.

In this situation, I’ve always found the quickest way is T3 Upper desks, up the lift, through the door and onward.
