Using Avios to book with SriLankan

I was reading today’s article about booking with OneWorld partners, and this https://www.headforpoints.com/2021/04/01/can-i-use-avios-on-srilankan-airlines-2/ from 2021 – however, I am not seeing direct flights from SriLankan listed as available when using the ExecClub Avios booking search.

For instance if I look at 7/2/25-21/2/25 there are direct flights from LHR-CMB on SriLankan’s website, but through BA.com these are not listed. There are flights from SriLankan, but only as connections from eg BOM. Any idea why the direct flights aren’t available to book with Avios?

Sold out? Have you tried other dates?

Seems to be a longstanding issue. There were no flights showing when I was looking a year ago https://www.headforpoints.com/forums/topic/booking-sri-lankan-with-avios/

We didn’t go ahead with our plans so can’t be off any more assistance I’m afraid

Yes it seems the direct flights are not offered, a shame!
