Using BA/Finnair avios for JAL reward seats

Hi,

I was planning to use my avios to get JAL reward seats back from Tokyo to London next May.

I found that on BA it does not release seats until 355 but if I book on Finnair I can do 360 days ahead. Last time I checked was a few months ago and I can see good availability on both ways booking via Finnair.

However, I checked again recently on Finnair but I can only see outbound (LHR-Tokyo) JAL seats at 360 days but nothing return? (Return is Finnair AY flights only).

Is it because JAL only release inbound seats now not outbounds? Or it is just too popular and got snatched so quickly?
