Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Using Companion Voucher to book for someone else

  • 13 posts

I didn’t think this was possible but a friend of mine who’s voucher was expiring early next year, who was unable to use it himself has managed to let two other family members use it.

He had to speak to British Airways to book on their behalf but isn’t physically flying himself.

I knew this was possible with the Barclaycard Upgrade Voucher but didn’t think it was with the AMEX Companion voucher or has something changed?

It’s not supposed to be possible! Has he got it fully ticketed and everything? Unless the Ts and Cs have actually changed, they need to keep a close eye on the booking in case someone at BA spots the anomaly and cancels it.
