Using Qatar app to book Avios seats on jetBlue on a BGI route

Hello.

Has anyone managed to book a seat on the BGI to JFK route in the Qatar app using Avios?

I am all set up ok with sufficient Avios but there appears nil availability, ever. Is this route excluded?

I have tried the MCO-SJU a few times. Qatar take the 26k Avios then 2 days later an email arrives stating no avaiability and the avios are refunded. Ended up paying cash.

Not Qatar but I flew American to NYC via Miami from Barbados on Avios last year. Was good availability when I checked and had no issues getting the date I wanted…
