Hi!
I’ve searched around for a bit without finding a good answer to how the credit card upgrade voucher works on itineraries with connections on Delta, or other airlines.
I’m planning on booking a flight to Mexico via ATL, where the LHR-ATL leg is operated by Virgin and the ATL-mexico leg is operated by Delta. Will it be possible to use the upgrade voucher to upgrade the LHR-ATL leg, or even both legs? Or will it only work if all legs are on Virgin?
I have Gold so will only bother booking a Classic fare if I know I can upgrade it, otherwise I’ll just either book a cheaper Light fare or fully paid PE.
Provided there is availability you can use it to upgrade the VS legs only. Have done it on a KLM + Virgin ticket.
