Vietnam Airlines don’t allow Virgin Atlantic Flying Club number on booking

Been on two internal flights this week with Vietnam Airlines . VS don’t appear on the FF dropdown when making a booking . Asked VN check
-in staff to link my VS FF number to my bookings .One of them was googling Virgin Atlantic . They tell me they have but they haven’t so keep your boarding passes !I noticed this on my China Airlines booking too. It will probably take a few weeks/months for all the airlines to add this.
I have been using my Volare Executive Card number until Virgin starts to work
Skyscanner doesn’t recognise VS as being part of SkyTeam, yet…
In the meantime, if you’ve already taken your Vietnam Airlines, you’ll have to contact their CS centre to get the points manually added on
Good to know…. Going on some domestic flights soon in Vietnam.
