Virgin Atlantic companion vouchers – when do they expire?

As the title says how do I find out how many VA companion vouchers I have and when they expire?

I remember the used to be a WhatsApp number I could contact.. but can’t find the link any more

I called up yesterday, got through instantly and was told the expiry date of all our vouchers. Was surprised to hear we had 6 due to various extensions.

Were the dates book by (i.e. have to at least make the outwards leg) or return by dates (i.e. have to return inbound as well)?

Have to fly outbound before the expiry so most of mine were useless as hoping to use in 2024.

I have two to use by Jan/Feb 24, so looking to book close to the end to maximise the 331 days in advance availability.

I thought the chat was that the expiry dates were treated as book by dates by VS?
