Virgin credit card voucher non refundable?

Made a booking using a CC voucher, used to upgrade in this case. Needed to cancel and Virgin advised on the phone that the vouchers are non refundable even though the points + fees are refundable less the £30? Can’t see any mention of this on Virgin Money Ts and Cs nor in any HFP article, so can anyone clarify either way?

Never heard of non-return. Recommended HUACA.
My CC voucher was returned following cancellation in 2021, however Virgin cancelled the flight – so not directly comparable.

yes they said if they cancel the flight then only then would it be refundable. Luckily they advised that as this wasn’t advised during the initial booking they would waive it and refund them.
