Did you solve the issue? I booked with points, one way, GRU-LHR. I got refund only email, tried 2 webchats, and found out this morning that they are processing a refund I didnt request. It appears they are changing cash bookings but not reward or 2/1. I have put in 2 complaints, but I get the impression they will ignore and try to ride it out.Hi Amy,

What I have written in my last post on this thread is what happened. Only now I am totally sure as I have spoken to LATAM, picked my seats and meals etc and have the e-ticket in my inbox. Very miffed that they were repeatedly trying to force a refund on me and I had to waste literal hours to get this sorted. I’m sorry to hear they are refunding you against your wishes. BA did exactly that to me in 2021, I was livid. You may have to fight them at arbitration if you think it’s worth it. I did with BA and still lost. But that was a cash booking.
