I understand that Virgin Holidays recently updated their tier points offering to a double points, when booking a flight + hotel package (if flight is operated by VS).
I’m looking to book a cruise-only with them. I called to ask if this would be eligible for the previous tier point offering of 20pts per £500 spent. Both the agent and call centre supervisor agreed that this would be eligible, but they were only 99% sure – not 100%. I’m not convinced myself, having looked at the unclear T&Cs. Do they still run this for bookings not eligible for the flight+hotel double tier points deal?
Anyone else any experience on this?
