Looks like VS is returning to Cancun – they’ve just announced Heathrow-Cancun flights commencing in October 2025..

I think this is probably a good move (albeit I would like to see more MAN services!) CUN is a hugely popular destination with lots of accommodation options, so this will tie in well with Virgin Holidays. I don’t think any other carrier flies LHR-CUN currently, and of course as mentioned in the press release, there are numerous onward travel opportunities on partner airlines.

3 times a week on a 16 UC seat A350 though so UC redemptions are probably going to be pricey/hard to come by….

Nearly 200 destinations available from MAN, and you want more ! ?

Well of course I meant more VS services!

200 destinations but a much smaller number of countries, though. MAN is miserably served on transatlantic routes, I think 5 US cities in total, and one of those is the seasonal LAS flight which could be dropped at any time with VS’s track record!

To the Caribbean there are 3/4 direct routes, mostly on TUI 😞
