Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

Forums Frequent flyer programs Virgin Flying Club Virgin Points – How can I find reward availability?

  • 3 posts

    Hi
Have had no problem finding Avios club seats previously but we find ourselves with a bag full of Virgin miles.
The Virgin Atlantic website is awful and finds something one minute, then nothing the next, or will only let you search for cash fares not reward flights.
Looking for Air France, Delta, or Virgin flights (or any I can spend the miles on)

What has anyone had success with please

    TIA

As above, search on SeatSpy then call to book, worked for us when I wanted 3 seats back from MCO at short notice a couple of weeks ago.

There is a specific option to select points bookings as well as cash and miles + points so not sure why you’re not seeing that – it’s under the “advanced search” drop down.

If you want to search for a departure / arrival point that isn’t on the usual VS route network (such as AMS for KLM) you need to select from the airport list not via entering the airport code.

I am seeing that but the Virgin website either says nobody flies there, error, or goes back to the front screen

Don’t you have to call to book award flights on airlines other than Virgin?
