Save to Card to get a 100% statement credit when you spend any amount on a GBP transaction online at Virgin Atlantic by 16/12/2024. Valid for flights departing from UK airports, every time up to a total of £100, for the first 15,000 Cardmembers to save. Terms, locations, payment restrictions and future communications will apply.
It just cropped up on my Platinum.
Could we trigger this by booking short haul on sky team metal through the virgin site I wonder?
Would this work with reward bookings? I know it says it wouldn’t work but the BA one worked with Avios and that said it wouldn’t work either.
Does it say it won’t work with reward bookings? I can only see no holiday booking or points purchase?
It should work on reward bookings looking at T&C’s
The last offer worked on reward bookings so guess this should too. What does it mean when it says “every time”? Does it mean its 100 pounds for every booking i.e., can be used more than once?
It means on every transaction up to £100 hitting total basically.
“for a total of up to £100.”
So if you made 11 transactions of £10 each it would count for the first 10 as you had now reached the £100 limit.
Can’t see any exclusion for rewards bookings
Purchasing points is excluded as are Virgin Holidays and it must be exUK but other than that anything airline related should work.
I can’t see any restriction o using it on codeshares operated by others. Just that the flight must depart the UK.

How do you book codeshare ticket online?
I was able to hit this offer while booking only the return leg on reward flight. Looks like the flight information is ignored by Amex and all they care about is currency which happens to be £ with reward bookings.
@kshar did you book by phone and ask them to charge you in ££ as I was going to try this on a 1-way reward booking from the US to UK but booking online only allows payment in $$ and I know the T&Cs state no phone bookings/££ only?
Has this been crediting OK for people? Made a couple of VS reward flight bookings last week and nothing so far.
It worked for me on one Booking. Need to use the offer on the Supplementary card
Booked redemption flights yesterday but not triggered yet. Agent was kind enough to let us use different cards for each person, so hoping that it triggers on both cards…
Its online only not valid on telephone bookings. Please check

I was hoping it might still work but just seen the transactions come through and showing as Contact Centre. It was worth a shot, but never mind. Disappointing as vouchers can’t be used online.

It worked for me
How long does it take for the credit to post? I purchased a reward flight online on Sunday 27 Oct… still no credit on Friday 1 Nov.
Worked for me on an AF online reward ticket…nice
A second VS offer has appeared this morning (spend £1,500+ get £250 back), which presumably stacks with the other. There’s also a new Virgin Holidays offer.
Strange times
