I have 90k and 1x upgrade voucher
1 child has 0Just need for one way UK-USA so 27,500 pp for PE upgrade to UC. Only Virgin red.
How would it work as I understand I can’t combine Virgin pts like I can with BA household?
If wife and child on one voucher? But they won’t have enough pts but I do? Help please 🙂

When flying economy in the past, on more than one occasion my OH been allowed to transfer 10k of points to my account free of charge by the helpful agents on the flying club helpline in order to make the total points needed for a couple of return flights. This was the minimum allowed and presumably was ok because the points price of one of the single flights was 10k, so effectively my OH was paying for one of her own flights. Perhaps they’ll let you do that even for a PE redemption despite the points price being higher. Worth asking anyway and they’ve always been very good about reserving my flights for a couple of days while the points clear into my account.
