Any intern rate on points stays?
Random sunday night in June it comes up as the most expensive IHG property in the centre both onn cash and points
Hotel looks very nice, might try it when it opens as I think I’ll be in Manchester around then.
Plus, better to check it out sooner rather than later, as let’s face it, it’s a Kew green managed hotel, so it’ll be run into The ground soon enough with all the cost and corner cutting they do at their other hotels and the state of those.
Don’t ppear to be any special offers but that might change as there are only 3 types of rooms available at the moment
Couple of oddities on points bookings where points are low but cash cost is high
Manchester pricing has been rather high and inconsistent of late – e.g. HI is more than the Kimpton some nights! I’m trying the new Halyard in Liverpool in May which is a bargain 18k points on a Sunday night when we’ve got concert tickets.
Odd pricing in Manchester Marriotts too. The ex-La Reserve on Ducie St by Picc Station is now a Tribute Portfolio
Been looking at a couple of mattress runs/decent weekend breaks in early 2025 and the voco is curiously cheap on Fridays and Saturdays – £99 flexible rate. This surely must be a mistake so it might be wise to book early!
