Anyone else getting this?
I have the “bought” Diamond from last year, so wonder if it’s anything to
do with my Ambassador/cert. expiring on 1 Feb?I have same message. Currently Diamond Ambassador through Platinum/Diamond stay 15/25 nights promotion in 2022. Ambassador expires end April. Stayed more than 70 nights in 2023 so should retain Diamond on that basis.
Same for me. I have rolled my Diamond status via the Ambassador route since the creation debacle, so a downgrade may be on the cards… I certainly haven’t got the stays to retain it!
I do have a high value IHG stay booked for this year though, so maybe they will be lenient!
Yes, I logged into my app today and saw the same message. I’m a little concerned but think I’ll be okay as I know that I achieved the diamond requirements through points last year, however I forgot to take a screen grab so I don’t have evidence easy to hand if for some reason they suggest I have not met the criteria.
With the credit card gone this will be my last year of diamond status as I just don’t stay enough to maintain it, the credit card was necessary for me as I’ve always surpassed the points requirement.
I’ll be disappointed if I do lose it in the coming weeks
I checked this morning and I’m now platinum. I tried but ultimately failed. Some you win, some you lose, but it was nice when I had it.
I’ve booked in Sydney Ic in 2 weeks time but the reviews for breakfast weren’t great anyway, so it will now force me to eat somewhere else.I have the same message when I log into my IHG app. I also extended the status via the ambassador ‘hack’.
Be a shame if it goes, but I’ve had a decent amount out of it and allowed me to focus cash stays to Hilton to build a decent points balance with them.
Having Diamond Ambassador status meant that on the few occasions we stayed with IHG, the benefits were very good. I still have lounge access until end of 2024 so that sweetens the deal.

Re: Sydney, I can’t think of many cities in the world with better breakfast/brunch options! Maybe it is a blessing in disguise
I just checked this morning and I’m still Diamond Ambassador with the status message for a review now removed. May have escaped this for a final year of Diamond.
I checked earlier this morning as we’re staying in a CP tonight. The status message for a review is also now removed. I’m still Diamond Ambassador as expected, as completed 70+ nights last year.
