What’s happening with Business Platinum sign-up bonuses now?

A few months ago, HfP highlighted that AmEx had opened up the sign-up bonuses for Biz Plat, so they’d be received regardless of when you last had an MR-earning card.
Is that still the case?
I binned my personal Platinum 6 months ago, so would I now be eligible for the sign-up bonus on a Biz Plat?

Looks like a 50k bonus would be yours if your application is successful. The wording on the sign up bonus offer makes no mention of another card or product type.

Yes, the rule change is permanent. No need to cancel your existing personal card at all now.
