Why do I have to claim Avios and tier points on every trip?

Getting frustrated having booked through BA website 1x long haul, 1x European ski holiday and BA return flights to Europe, all through my account with Executive club number attached do I not receive any Avios points or Tier points. I’ve made a claim for the long haul but that is hard work. Even today I added through the “claim missing Avios points” a flight I took over a week ago to be returned an error message saying I could not submit because I have to wait 3 days. Fed up, you can’t speak to BA I can’t use their website or app as it just returns errors and I’m not being rewarded for using them. Any advise? Thanks.
