Hi all, is there a way to find out whya f light was cxld? for Exampl BA2811 on 1st Nov RAK to LGW?
Inbound flight from Gatwick was diverted to Casablanca. Don’t know why though.
ETA – according to Reddit, Marrakesh Air Show caused flights to be diverted.
There is a “flight disruption” thread for BA flights on Flyer talk and the reason posted there (and probably more important of it is compensation qualifying.
Will try and post a link later when I get more stable wifi
Flyer talk thread is https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/2146197-faq-reason-flight-delay-cancellation-2024-edition.html
But I can’t see anything about BA2811
The thread is updated daily noting departures from LHR affected, so no automatic details of flights into LHR or indeed flights to/from other UK airports. However, ask on the thread and someone in thread know can respond.
And no, I don’t believe there is a similar one for VA, but asking in the VA section may provide an answer
