Will Barclays run the 100k offer in 2023?

I’ve got a Barclays Avios Plus CC. I stupidly missed the Premier Account Change offer.

I know that if I downgrade my Plus CC card now, I will be excluded should Barclays run the same offer in the next 12 months. As I would have had the Plus card within a 2 month window.

Does anyone have any idea if Barclays might run the offer again this year?

Should I hang onto my Barclays Plus CC in anticipation of this, or, just downgrade it now?

Did you initially get a sign up bonus? if so then you have to cancel + wait 24m

The only way to ensure you are eligible is to cancel now, hope they dont relaunch the offer in less than 6m (even if they do) and then sign up again when they are offering the sign up bonus (provided you didnt get one before)

I can’t see them running it again. Rather than having a multitude of people complaining about not receiving their 100k Avios, it’s better to have a handful of people celebrating winning a million Avios.

They haven’t finished the current one yet remember – people are only just starting to get points now, people who had a Barclays Premier appointment in Feb (as some did) won’t qualify until June and they are expecting 2-3 months of issues with people who think they are due the bonus but haven’t got it ….
