I was holding back hitting the 10k spend on the BAPP to maximise the 2 year voucher period.
But through some unforseen circumstances I had to do a large transaction that’s taken me over 10k…but simultaneously I have an old transaction that will be refunded which once it comes through will take me back below 10k.
The app days I just triggered the voucher….will it, or can I request it, to be reversed given the refund will take me back below 10k?
Once it’s issued and in you BA account there’s no going back.
You’ll keep the voucher but you’ll need to spend the extra credit to get the next one on top of the £10k.

Not if the charge and refund is in the same card year.
Refunds only affect you when they hit post new card starting. In which case a fully refundable pre paid hotel booking from a reputable website can be useful
Would same logic hold for hitting a SUB target, but when the refund takes you below the target would they claw back the SUB?

No. But you’d be 30,000 miles in negative for example. You can close the account no problem but if you wanted to bring it back to 0 you’d have to spend quite a lot.
