Over the last few days I have had multiple email and text telling me my replacement card is on its way. I never ordered one and as I am away an element of concern arose.
Amex don’t seem to have a what’s app capability and on line chat was less than reassuring.
I now understand it’s all a technical glitch but not being about to get through at 8am this morning as they had no phones working didn’t exactly increase confidence. All very odd and discombobulating!!
Yes – I had emails like these too @Paul – as you say, it set some alarm bells ringing, so good to hear it’s likely just a snafu on Amex’s side rather than some fraud attempt!
