My partner has had this error when trying to refer from her AMEX Plat. Been this way for over 3 months now. Anybody else get this error, have tried webchat, but they say that sometimes they dont let people refer. Wondering if anybody had this and got it resolved?
Still got the same. No resolution yet for me, and I’ve not seen anyone comment about resolving it themselves, either (there’s a couple of threads about this on here already).
My partner did upgrade from GOLD>AMEX plat…wonder if thats a common theme… i will look through the forum(s), cheers
I phoned and complained about it a more than a month ago was told yhere was nothing they could do but appeared in
my platinium and Ba account next morning.
Was there a history of referring each back and forth or to family members with same surname?
Same for me and my OH in the last 2 days.
On my BA card, the option to refer comes and goes. There doesn’t seem to be much logic to it.
On my cashback card the option is always there.
Been the same for me each time the enhanced plat and gold offers ended I could no longer refer
I could refer from new BAPP but closed that a couple weeks ago.
Deffo an error with the system and nothing to do with back and forth referrals

Really?
I can no longer refer from my Nectar or Cashback, wife can’t refer from Platinum, Cashback or Rewards, brother can’t refer from BA Basic.
Mum can refer from her cashback and dad from his Nectar, Cashback and Rewards.
Doesn’t seem to be any logic that you’d expect a “glitch” to impact (all or nothing, right?), so feels quite targeted…
Absolutely wouldn’t expect a glitch to impact all because like I said they all have their individual offers sometimes targeted sometimes for all
Others I know only 1 of their 3/4 cards are impacted.
Like I said 3 of mine were and one wasn’t.
Someone I know can’t refer from a card they’ve never sent a referral from but can from another they have referred from previously.
I’m the same and I’ve never referred anyone before
