Hi,
I’m looking at flying MAN-LHR-ZRH with BA, but with an overnight stop in London. I will need checked baggage on this trip and will need items from it overnight. Does anyone know how long the layover needs to be for BA to allow you to collect your checked baggage at LHR?
Many thanks!Overnight you’ll have no problem telling them to check to London
Are the items you want not able to be carried in your hand baggage? It’s an absolute pain having to collect and re-check if you don’t need to.
If you have no choice, you’ll need to make this clear to the agent at bag drop and make sure they tag it to LHR and not ZRH. Shouldn’t be an issue if you’re staying overnight, though, as @Dougzz99 says.
