HELP – cancelling BA redemption booking within 24 hours?

Just be aware that the old vouchers are not always being refunded immediately – or at all! I did this a few months ago and chased up BA for weeks trying to get the 241 back. I eventually gave up on them and appealed to the very helpful FT user who sorted it out – I would only use this as a last resort though.

I suspect that my voucher not reappearing might have been connected to it having been refunded from the voucher BA was offering last year extending everything to Sep 23. The original 241 would have expired so it may have been that that was why the system didn’t recognize that it should have gone back into my account – just a guess though!
