-
Our flight early tomorrow was cancelled at lunchtime today due to strike action in Italy. We are now booked Saturday morning. We were only going for 3 nights. We are unable to get our first nights accommodation refunded and have incurred costs in parking at the airport and train tickets in Rome, as cancelling with less than 24 notice. Even my wee dogs at the boarders !
Have we any avenue of recourse except travel insurance?
ThanksBA isn’t responsible for any of those costs so yes it’s for your travel insurance.
Presumably the strike action is affecting all flights and therefore there’s no chance of you being re-routed on another carrier as per your UK261 rights?
