This is my brief review of the Park Inn hotel in Bedford.
Well, I survived my trip to Bedford yesterday. The Park Inn Bedford is a 10-15 minute walk from the railway station, in what looks like a conversion of an ugly 1960’s office building. Inside, though, I was pleasantly surprised – the rooms have obviously been refurbished in the last 18 months or so, and were clean, bright and spacious.
It was a big improvement on the traditional Holiday Inn Express budget hotel room. I put my feet up for 45 minutes, had a cup of tea with the free biscuits, and then wandered back to the station and to London. Let’s see how long it takes for the points to post. Next stop … Watford!
