If you’ve been taking part in the avios.com and BAEC ‘new partners’ promo, anyone who converted £6.50 or more of Tesco vouchers to BAEC between February and May (and had not converted to that BA account from Nov 2010 to Nov 2011) will have had their 2,000 bonus Avios overnight.
My Mum and, erm, my 4-year old got theirs!
48,200 Club Carlson points from my stay in Bedford turned up last night as well. That represents 44,000 bonus points, 2,000 points first stay bonus and 1,000 point online booking bonus, plus the stay points.
If I do a 50,000 point highest category redemption, I will either buy the extra 2,000 points for $14 or transfer 600 Amex Membership Rewards points (1:3 ratio) across. Next stop (on a different account) – Watford!
