End of American Express Membership Rewards transfers to Priority Club

A quick reminder that there are just two weeks left to transfer American Express Membership Rewards points to Priority Club – the last day is 30th June.
It is not clear why this relationship is breaking up, unless Priority Club wants its members to focus on its own credit cards rather than collecting points indirectly via a MR transfer.
The writing was probably one on the wall a couple of years ago when the transfer rate in the UK moved from 1:2 to 2:3.
Points transfers do count towards status so if you think you might not retain Priority Club Platinum this year (and the reduced number of promotions means some will struggle, including myself) it might be worth doing a transfer purely for that reason.
