Bits and pieces for Tuesday

The Avios partnership most people didn’t know even existed, coupled with the charge card that most people have never even seen yet alone used, is coming to an end on August 31st.  That will be the last day to earn Avios from a UK Diners Club card.  The news has not yet reached the Diners Club website, though.

If you have any Delta SkyMiles, you can top them up by 500 by joining Le Club Accorhotels via this link.  Existing Le Club members can also take part.

We are now into July and therefore the Q3 hotel promotions.  If you missed it, here is my take on the Hilton, Priority Club, Ritz-Carlton and Marriott promotions. 

Don’t forget the Club Carlson Park Plaza offer which runs to August 22nd, and which is the single most generous promotion running beyond the next couple of weeks.

And finally … I have applied for my wife’s British Airways Executive Club status match today, from her Silver BMI Diamond Club card.  I will report on how long it takes.  Today was chosen because her year-end is June 8th and we are now more than one month clear of that.  I expect to get status until 31st July 2014.  She is currently BAEC Blue, ie nothing.
