Marriott Bonvoy is offering 2,000 bonus points per stay between 21st September and 15th December.  The offer starts with your second stay during the period.  Marriott Bonvoy American Express cardholders will receive additional bonuses.  Registration closes on 1st December. I rarely run articles on offers at specific hotels, but this one is generous and the properties are well regarded.

Marriott Rewards is offering 10,000 bonus points when you stay at any of its three boutique ‘Autograph Collection’ properties in the UK:

The Glasshouse, Edinburgh

You earn the bonus as many times as you want, which makes it especially valuable for regular business travellers.  I would value the 10,000 bonus points at roughly £50 if used for hotel stays, and you can also transfer Marriott points to Avios.

The last day to stay is 31st March.

You MUST use promotional code M41 when booking on the Marriott website.

Full details can be found on the Marriott site here.

FWIW, your title says “Glasgow”, not “Edinburgh”. The Glasshouse is delightful. I stayed in one of the suites before and the whole experience was wonderful. Never met better, kinder and friendly, yet discreet and professional hotel staff in my life. I highly recommend it.

  • Billy says:

I think the subject needs updating – Glasgow is not mentioned in the text.

  • Mr Chiggles says:

Am at the glasshouse in Edinburgh every week! Think my boss would kill me if I expensed in the best flexi rate rather than the one we’ve got negotiated 🙁

  • What's the Point says:

I have checked a few dates at the St. Ermin’s Hotel for Feb. Roughly £209 – £220 per night for a Guest room. This rate gets you the 10,000 bonus points.
However the same room is available for between £30 – £40 less (at a non bonus earning rate). All be it this is a non-refundable rate.

    • Rob says:

That is the standard differential you would get between Advanced Purchase and Best Flexible, though. And at a hotel like St Ermin’s the vast majority of guests will be business travellers who will be booking Best Flexible anyway.

  • Dave Prosser says:

I stayed at The Glasshouse in November. Great hotel, booked a room for £180. And with my Marriot Gold card we were upgraded to a huge suite (with complimentary decanter of whiskey)… Free breakfast for two. Checked in at 10am. And checked out at 4pm.

    • Mr Chiggles says:

The standard upgrade for a gold at the Glasshouse is to a garden or city view room (I.e with outside access) have my first suite upgrade next week.

Free breakfast for gold is only continental, 5 to upgrade to Scottish.
