Yesterday lunchtime I ran a bonus article to highlight some of the fantastic deals available in the latest British Airways sale.
As that article explained, you can book Dublin to New York in Business Class (either direct on American Airlines or via London on BA) for around £1,000. If you look in the comments to that post you will also see other good deals to the US – some from Dublin and some from Amsterdam.
There is also a UK sale going on at the same time – the ‘Luxury World Sale’. This offers discounts on Club Europe / Club World and First Class flights and holiday packages.
The special ba.com page for the sale is here.
You need to book by June 3rd.
The best way to see what is on offer for what month is to use the month-by-month Low Fare Finder tool on the British Airways website.
I am not desperately excited by the prices – and some are laughable compared to what is available out of Dublin. £1900 to New York or Dubai in Club World is definitely not an outstanding deal. When you realise you could fly from Dublin to New York for exactly HALF of that price ….
Mumbai, Delhi and Barbados are more attractive at £1500. £2500 to the Maldives or Hong Kong is not a bargain.
As always, though, it depends on where you are planning to go and what comparable Avios availability is there.
There are also short-haul deals in Club Europe available.
Here is the small print:
Travel to Europe from London Heathrow is available for selected outbound travel dates between 1 June 2014 and 12 December 2014 and travel to Europe from London City is available for selected outbound travel dates between 1 June 2014 to 12 December 2014.
