Starwood, the Westin / Sheraton / W / aloft / Luxury Collection etc hotel group, has announced its promotion for the final quarter of the year.

Called “More For You“, it is a very simple one:

You will earn double Starpoints on every SPG stay of two nights or more between September 15th and December 15th

You will earn triple Starpoints if your stay includes a Friday or Saturday (Thu/Fri in the Middle East)

Starwood SPG

Unfortunately, it is not quite so straightforward in practice:

A long list of hotels have decided not to participate including almost all of the UK ones

You need to register your SPG account to take part

You need to register by 30th November, even though the promotion runs until 15th December

Registration is available via this webpage.  Because of the November 30th cut-off, you should register now just in case an unexpected Starwood stay crops up in early December.

Summaries of the other major hotel promotions for Autumn can be found by clicking on the ‘Hotel Offers‘ tab at the top of the page.

Got two weeks in a Sheraton NY coming up so this will do me nicely. I booked before registering though (used the HFP affiliate link) but don’t see that this would affect the bonus.

    • Rob says:

You should be OK. I have £600 of St Regis bookings in 3 weeks which are already locked in and I expect to get double for that!
