Just a quick heads up that midnight UK time tonight (Friday) is your last chance to enter our HotelTonight competition. Entries date-stamped after this time will not be counted.
Five winners will each receive £200 of credit for HotelTonight. This can be used at any time over the next 12 months to book hotel rooms in any of the 450 cities around the world where the company is operating.
If you haven’t downloaded the HotelTonight app yet for your iOS, Android or Windows Phone, you should take a look.
The company is expanding quickly throughout the UK. Cardiff, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Derby, Dover and Aberdeen have recently been added, taking the number of UK cities to 29. Globally the company is operating in over 450 cities, primarily in Europe and North America but continually growing.
Last month, the company unveiled a major strategic change. You can now book a hotel up to 7 nights in advance. You no longer need to book on the day of arrival.
This is a major change and, in my mind, a major improvement. Being able to book a few days in advance gives you added confidence that you will know where you are staying. And, because you can book before you start your trip, it is easier to check out reviews and the location of the HotelTonight options to be sure they are suitable for you.
At the same, restricting the booking window to just seven days means that hotels are still willing to give discounts to HotelTonight customers. Most properties will be pretty certain of their estimated occupancy rate for a particular night in seven days times.
If you’ve never tried it, there is a generous sign-up bonus available:

Good luck! And even if you don’t win, you can still download the HotelTonight app and receive £15 off your first booking. If you are planning a trip with a friend, why not get them to sign up too and then you can both book a night with the discount?
