Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

Thank you to everyone who entered our competition last month to win £300 of hotel credit from booking app HotelTonight.

Apologies for the delay in announcing the winner, which got delayed by holidays on both sides.

HotelTonight has now told me the name of the winner, which is …..

Adam Huberman

Well done Adam!

I will be in touch later with details of how to add your £300 of credit to your HotelTonight account.  Your prize will be valid for 12 months and can be used at any of their properties in over 1,900 cities.

Discounts still available to all HfP readers

If you missed the competition, you can still claim the two discounts that HotelTonight offered to Head for Points readers:

If you are new to HotelTonight, download the app, register and enter code HFP on the ‘Redeem promo code’ page.  You will receive £20 off your first booking of £110 + taxes.  This is valid at ANY hotel globally, not just UK ones, and will work until the end of 2016.

If you have already downloaded the app and registered, enter code HFP2 on the ‘Redeem promo code’ page.  You will receive £15 off any stay of two or more nights with a total cost of £180 + taxes.  The code is valid globally and will last until the end of 2016.

What is HotelTonight?

HotelTonight is an app which allows you to book a carefully curated selection of hotels, at all price points, up to seven days in advance. By restricting itself to seven days advance booking, it can persuade hotels to offer discounted prices because they will know by that point that they will not be full.

The company operates in 36 countries with over 1,900 cities currently covered.

HotelTonight is only available as an app. There is no website through which you can book. Restricting access to deals to registered users is another way that the company can persuade hotels to offer deals through the platform.

Whilst the discount codes above can be used until the end of the year, it makes sense to download the app and register now as these codes are a temporary special offer.

I entered the code on the referral box when registering on the app for first time. Wasn’t obvious if code had accepted but shows under > account> referral credit. For me. Using Android app.
