Could you host a Head for Points Summer Party?

We are thinking – tentatively – about doing a HfP Summer Party this year after the huge success of the last two Christmas events.  (Here are the photos from last Christmas.)  If we’re going to do it, however, we’re going to need some help.

Whilst we love the Dry Martini bar at the Melia White House, it has no windows and is not necessarily suited to a Summer event.  We would probably need a different venue.  We also need something which is effectively pre-packaged because Anika and I only have a limited amount of time we can commit given our current travel plans.

It would be a lower key event than Christmas – no raffle, no speeches.  It would be late June or early July, before the schools break up on Friday 13th.

We’d like to hear from you if you think your employer or company could host us.  There are two possible formats:

You work for a high-end bar, potentially in a hotel in Zone 1, which could host 150-250 people (depending on your capacity) between 6pm and 8pm on a Mon / Tue / Wed night.  Your classy venue has lots of light and possibly, but not necessarily, some outdoor space.  You would get all of the bar takings and would expose your venue to a group of mainly higher-income London professionals.

or

You work for a high-end retailer, perhaps a gallery or travel-related business or Avios partner retailer, in Zone 1 who would be interested in having 150-250 (depending on your capacity) mainly higher-income London professionals through the door one evening for a reception.  In this scenario we would expect you to provide the drinks and catering staff, but we would pass the ticket money on to you.

If your company is interested, please drop me a note at rob at headforpoints.com.
