Until tonight, 19th April, you can find reduced fares on flights to the US from London Heathrow and Manchester.
Full details are on this special website. Our original sale article is here.
A few prices have changed since the launch of the sale. Manchester – Orlando, for example, has gone down from £480 to £391 (Economy for travel outbound 27th October – 12th December and 8th January – 27th March 2020).
Virgin is also doing a ‘flight and hotel’ sale with savings of up to £250 – see here.
Until 23rd April – note the four day extension here – you can:
Save £100 when you spend £1,000-£2,250 and use code 100SAVING
Save £150 when you spend £2,251-£3,750 and use code 150SAVING
Save £250 when you spend £3,751+ and use code 250SAVING
You must book via the Virgin Atlantic ‘flight and hotel packages’ site here. You also earn two bonus Flying Club miles for every £1 spent on a ‘flight and hotel’ package.

To maximise your miles when paying, your best bet is one of the two Virgin Atlantic Reward credit cards. These earn double miles (3 per £1 on the paid card or 1.5 per £1 on the free card) when you book at virginatlantic.com or via Virgin Holidays.
Another option is American Express Preferred Rewards Gold which offers double points – 2 per £1 – when you book flight tickets directly with an airline.
